Genevieve - Ruby & Sterling Silver Earrings

In the gem world, there are special stones made from bonding one material to another.  Those stones are referred to as composites or doublets.  This process allows the creator to form unique color combinations or use much less rare material and still look like a large piece of it.  For these earrings, the artist took slices of genuine ruby and bonded them to a faceted clear crystal.  

Ruby doublets and my silver come together to create these striking earrings!
